A look at the TV show Top Gear.

Top Gear originally started in 1977 as a factual magazine programme featuring an eclectic range of presenters, some of which now present the Channel 5 TV show 'Fifth Gear'. In 2002 the iconic show was updated to be studio based whilst placing more of an emphasis on the program's unique humour and the character traits of presenters James May, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond. A popular feature of the show is the unique tests they carry out on vehicles, such as the episode where Top Gear reviewed the Toyota Hilux. The tests varied from causing the car to hit a tree to hitting it with a wrecking ball. Top Gear is essential viewing for any true motoring fan.
